Sandra Allen and Sigurd

Sandra has a Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Communications and Child Development and Family Studies. She has over eleven years volunteering with The Grey Muzzle Organization, with a focus on donor and volunteer communication. She has over seven years employment working directly with dogs, teaching companion manners. She volunteered for three years with the Humane Society of Western Montana doing general training of adoptable animals, heading lost pet recovery services, and completing general volunteer responsibilities. She co-founded and ran a chapter of Dog Scouts of America, which promotes strengthening the human/canine bond and helps reduce re-homing of pets due to problem behaviors, and included creating and hosting educational events for the general public. She has served as Vice President and Secretary on nonprofit boards, which included participating on a financial oversight committee and applying for grants.
